About the Role
We’ve developed a ‘playbook’ for managing new sales leads that maximise the chance of converting those leads into clients. You will be responsible for managing all new leads and enquiries that come through the various marketing channels we leverage and over a 6 month period you’ll be trained and coached on applying (and improving) our playbook to those leads. Initially, you’ll be trained to qualify those leads, and pass them on to the owner of the business. You’ll then be trained and coached to handle more of the sales process including pitching, proposal, follow-up, objection handling, and closing.
At the end of the 6 months, depending on which role best suits you, you’ll move into a full time Business Development role managing new business, or an Account Management role where you’ll work with and support our existing clients from a sales perspective.
You’ll participate in our Success Plan, covering the first 30, 60 and 90 days with Blaze Online, ensuring you maximise your impact and achieve your sales objectives. In addition, you’ll benefit from ongoing coaching and mentoring, combined with a tailored Employee Growth and Development Plan to accelerate your career growth.
You have a background in either Web Development, or B2B SaaS or Software sales, where self-discipline, planning and being organised are critical to success. You also have a yearning to take that experience and leverage it in a new sales role focused on the high-growth ecommerce space, where your experience adds value and insight into understanding our clients needs and objectives. In doing so, you will strike the balance between building relationships and driving achievement of sales goals.
You are positive, confident, a team player, and a fast learner with a growth mindset who takes responsibility for your actions and outcomes.
Sales experience is not essential for this role, but would be considered a bonus. WordPress experience is also considered a plus.
